Li Kioko – en världsmedborgare Ingeli Aalto dotter till Li Kioko och fotograf Örjan Henriksson med flertalet nationella och internationella utställningar ställer ut konstverk och fotografi er av Li Kioko. Boken, Li Kioko – en världsmedborgare skriven av Ingeli Aalto finns till försäljning under utställningen.
Li Kioko växte upp i Sao Paulo, Brasilien. På 1960-talet hamnade hon i Sverige, Norrahammar, verksam som konstnär i 40 år. Känslorna och minnena från Brasilien syntes i hennes tidiga skapande, senare hann det japanska arvet ifatt henne.
Li Kiokos rötter finns spridda över hela världen. Genom sitt konstnärliga arbete ville hon bygga broar mellan människor och kontinenter. Ingeli Aaltos förhoppning är att en del av Li Kiokos verk ska komma ”hem” till Brasilien
Li Kioko – A Citizen of the World
Ingeli Aalto, daughter of Li Kioko, and the photographer Örjan Henriksson, with several national and international exhibitions, will display Li Kioko’s paintings and photographies.
The book “Li Kioko – A Citizen of the World” writen by Ingeli Aalto will available for sale during the exhibition.
Li Kioko grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In the 60’s she ended up in Norrahammar, Sweden, and were active as an artist for 40 years. The emotions and memories from Brazil were clearly visible in her early works, and in her later works her Japanese heritage was more evident.
Li Kioko’s roots extended all over the world. Through her artistic work she wanted to build bridges between people and continents.
Ingeli Aalto’s hopes are that part of Li Kioko’s work will come back “home” to Brazil.
Franksley Paganini will be making the inaugural speech at the Li Kioko vernissage at Saab Art Gallery.
